The Society

The Mödling Contemporary History Society was founded on April 27, 2023.
Its aim is to scientifically research events and circumstances relevant to contemporary history and the people associated with them in the city and the region around Mödling, documenting, publishing and publicizing them through the organization of lectures, events and the like.

We hold lectures, organize guided tours, publish on current research topics and provide information about interesting publications.
And we seek contact and cooperate with other organizations with similar thematic orientation.
